Bloomsburg Falls to East Stroudsburg in Men's Soccer

BLOOMSBURG - The Bloomsburg University men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 contest to East Stroudsburg in a Wednesday night Pennsylvania State Athletic (PSAC) conference match-up.
In the first half, the defense was tight as the teams played to a scoreless tie. Travis Young (Altoona/Altoona Area) saved three shots for the Huskies while Don Frick also had three stops for East Stroudsburg.
East Stroudsburg's Copeland Lewis broke the tie early in the second half off of a high shot that hit the top corner of the goal and fell behind Young to give the Warriors a 1-0 lead.
Michael Kane added an insurance goal at the 65-minute mark to give the Warrior's a 2-0 lead and Roshane Ellison scored on a Dennis Maldonado assist to make the final score 3-0 in favor of East Stroudsburg.
For ESU (2-0-1, 1-0-1 PSAC), Frick finished with four saves while Young stopped ten for the Huskies (0-2, 0-2 PSAC).
Bloomsburg is back in action on Saturday in Kutztown for a 3:30 start against the Golden Bears.
